Vetwell Clinic, Mitchelton
Rohrig recently constructed an all-new clinic for the Vetwell Practice in Michelton, Queensland, taking the longstanding practice into the future.
The existing facility was demolished, and in its place we constructed an upgraded single-story facility featuring state-of-the-art consultation rooms, reception area, surgical theatre, procedure rooms, x-ray rooms, courtyard and carpark.
Architectural work was undertaken by Vokes & Peters, delivering a high-end design that merges clean, contemporary design with functional space. The new facility features a range of unique finishes like off-form concrete structures, timber doors and windows, and a specialised lead lining for the X-ray rooms.
Across 33 weeks of construction works, we carefully managed the demolition and build processes to contend with tight access and another building site next door. Liaising with the community and neighbouring site ensured the process ran smoothly.
