Construction of transit centre

In this important infrastructure project, Rohrig created a state-of-the-art facility in Sydney’s West and contributed to achieving very cost-effective results.

The centre, which houses approximately 80 buses and 150 employees, also included an administration building, vehicle maintenance and hardstand, 2-bay bus-wash and refuelling facilities.

Rohrig’s early involvement in the design stage and a cooperative working relationship meant the new facility could become operational when it was 75% complete. This allowed the client to relinquish its lease on another site earlier than anticipated, while Rohrig completed the construction safely in a live operating environment.
